My first stop on vacation: Qingdao. I have been to Qingdao many times, and although the summer traffic is huge, in my heart, it is still the city that I can never tire of. I like to watch the boats sailing on the calm sea with ripples, the blue sea with white waves, the gentle waves crashing on the beach, the shimmering waves on the sea surface, and even more so, I enjoy spending a relaxing time stepping on the soft sand at sunset.
Qingdao just had a heavy rain, and I took the subway line 11 to Beijiushui. I stepped onto the winding stone steps and walked in the “Jiushui Gallery”, enjoying the beautiful scenery of nature. The ‘North Nine Waters’ are the river water that flows down from the northern foot of Mount Laoshan and bends at the foot of the mountain, forming a nine fold formation, hence the name’ Nine Waters’. From “Yi Shui” to “Jiu Shui”, the water of Jiu Shui turns 18 times in a long canyon, forming 18 water pools at each turn. Each water pool has a meaningful name, such as “Wu Ji Tan”, “Zi Zi Tan”, “Ju Hua Tan”, “Zhong Xu Tan” and so on. The combination of water and pools gives rise to the name “Jiu Shui 18 Tan”. These water pools vary in size, depth, and style. In addition, the towering peaks on both sides, the chirping of birds, the gathering of strange lights, the shade of green trees, and the intertwining of mountains and water form a magnificent gallery scenery with one scene at a time and one bay at a time. The tourist bus that enters the mountain comes down to San Shui, and goes up along the canyon, passing through Si Shui, Wu Shui, Liu Shui, Qi Shui, and Ba Shui in sequence, until reaching the Chao Yin Waterfall of Jiu Shui. Chao Yin Waterfall is the end of Bei Jiu Shui, surrounded by steep cliffs on all sides, and the southeast high wall splits open like a door. The waterfall cascades down from here, and the mountain valley roars with a sound like a surging tide. Therefore, it is known as the “Rock Waterfall Chao Yin” and is one of the twelve scenic spots in Laoshan. The spring water falls three times along with the mountain, and finally pours into the last of the eighteen pools – “Indigo Bay”. Because the water in the pond is clear to the bottom and as blue as indigo, it is called “Indigo Bay”. One fold, one water, one pool, forming the “Nine Waters and Eighteen Pools”. People follow the water, the peaks return to the water, the mountains and waters are beautiful, the trees are shaded, and the strange peaks face each other, making people feel refreshed and reluctant to leave.
During the holiday, I went to the beach with two friends to watch the sunrise. Before departure, we worked together to prepare a travel guide and determine the destination, taking into account everyone’s needs and perfecting the travel plan. Because we are traveling with friends, we have chosen to share and use some items that can be shared, such as facial cleansers, to reduce luggage weight.
Let’s take a spontaneous trip with good friends during the holidays! Three people took a nine hour high-speed train ride to Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, 1500 kilometers away from Jinan. They tasted authentic Korean cuisine and changed into costumes to experience a day as Korean princesses. We chatted at the homestay, as if we were back in high school, discussing endless topics. Finally, we climbed the 2600 meter Changbai Mountain and were fortunate enough to see Tianchi, which lived up to its romantic name. We made a wish. The mist of Baishan is open, and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to witness the mountains that border China and North Korea.
The five-day trip was very casual, staying up until two or three o’clock every day, sleeping until noon when I couldn’t get up in the morning, and then going to have a delicious lunch; I didn’t want to go out and bask in the sun, so I decided to go sing on KTV; There is no strict travel plan to follow when going out to play at night. Take a slow walk in the alleys of the mountain city and feel the cultural atmosphere of the whole city. Encountered a rare sunset in the ‘foggy city’, stunning in beauty. The surprises that cameras cannot capture, we remember them with our eyes. Everything in the mountain city is healing me. The human fireworks are the most soothing to the hearts of ordinary people. It’s hard for me to describe the feeling of walking on the streets of Chongqing – it’s comfortable, free, and satisfying. As you walk through the winding mountain road, you will always be amazed at its perfect blend of prosperity and market life. I finally caught the evening breeze of Jialing River, felt the passion and romance of the mountain city, and realized my unfulfilled dream at the age of eighteen.
